From our records the first identification of Dave Cowdrey as a committee member of the club was as a committee member in 1983-84 and Treasurer in 1984-85.

The Dave Cowdrey Trophy is awarded to the winner of the best Landscape Photograph entered in the Barrian Cup.

The 2019 winner was Malcolm Kingswell of Abergavenny Camera Club for his image Hringveyur.

 

The 2018 winner was Angela De Roy Jones of Gwent Camera Club for her image Deganwy Winter Walk.

The 2017 winner was Tony Gameson of Ebbw Vale Camera Club for his image entitled Rhossilli.

 

In 2016, Gareth Martin of Cymru Monochrome won the trophy for the second year in a row.

 

In 2015, the trophy was awarded to Gareth Martin of Bridgend Camera Club for his image entitled Bad Weather Cwmorthin.
